Welcome everyone to our Raleigh's best Couch to 5k Program — we aren't the biggest, but we are the best because of our amazing volunteers who are all runners and want to show you the path to a pain-free non-stop run.
This program is designed for Beginners and previous runners looking for a fun way to slowly get back into shape to participate running events this year with their new found friends.
For 8 weeks you will slowly and safely develop your muscles and technique to take you from a couch to a non-stop 5k run. We know you can do it! Our success rate is roughly 95%.
Our program is Free — come out and enjoy making new friends and take your confidence to a new level. Our volunteers have so much to offer — you will be provided so much information (tips and techniques) to help you really enjoy running.
Why do we offer this program? Honestly, I really don't know why we want to give up 3 hours of our personal time every week to helping others. I can say this: the friendships we have made and watching everyone achieve a lifelong goal over the last 5 years has been priceless.
