Come out for a tasting!
Appalachian Mountain Brewery (AMB) of Boone has created a White Dot Session IPA in honor of the MST. White Dot Session IPA is made from locally grown and malted Riverbend wheat and barley with Galaxy and Citra hops and, with its 4.8% alcohol content, is a perfect beer to enjoy after a beautiful day of hiking or trail work.
The name for the beer was inspired by the MST blaze. Breadcrumbs are hardly the best way to mark a trail through North Carolina’s lush forests and sandy beaches. Instead, for forty years, hikers have depended on trusty “white dots” to guide their way along the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.
Throughout the summer, the White Dot Session IPA will be available in draught and cans in many locations across North Carolina. In August, White Dot will be beer of the month at all Total Wine stores in North Carolina.
