The Town of Wake Forest and the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce will present a new information series on Tuesday, September 12, designed to keep area residents up to date on important topics affecting our community and connected with local political, business, and civic leaders.
“Wake Up Wake Forest” will feature renowned experts in a variety of fields addressing a range of popular issues, including the economy, growth management, and public transportation. Each event will begin at 7:30 a.m. and take place at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for the Arts, 405 S. Brooks St.
Joe Milazzo, Executive Director of the Regional Transportation Alliance, will discuss the Wake Transit Plan. He will specifically address the plan's impact from a regional business community perspective.
The entire community is invited to attend these sessions. The cost is $10 (plus tax) per seminar or $25 (plus tax) for all three and includes breakfast. Tickets may be purchased online at wakeforestnc.gov/wake-up-wake-forest.aspx or at the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce, 350 S. White St.
