Celebrate the rich and diverse season of African American theater in the Triangle! The Triangle Friends of African American Arts is bringing together several performing arts organizations to showcase the wonderful African American plays and musicals that will hit the stages in 2018. This special event will include dramatic readings, songs and scenes from upcoming performances.
The evening will be hosted by The Black On Black Project's Mike Williams. Participating companies include Raleigh Little Theatre, PlayMakers Repertory Company, NC Opera, Deb Royals-Mizerk in association with Li V Mahob Productions, North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre, The Justice Theater Project, Agape Theatre Project and more! Admission: $15.
After the show, attendees can meet for drinks at Tupelo Honey! It is located less than a mile from the theater. They are keeping their bar open late just for us!
