2001 Campus Dr, Durham, North Carolina 27705
Burk Uzzle, who was the youngest photographer ever hired by Life magazine, will give a talk and demonstration on light, shadow and composition--issues that tested Old Master painters like Carlo Dolci, who influenced many generations of artists.
This talk is free and open to all, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the North Carolina Arts Council.
This is also the last day to view the special ticketed exhibition, «The Medici’s Painter: Carlo Dolci and 17th-Century Florence.» The talk is free and open to the public and does not require a ticket to the exhibition. The museum is open until 7 p.m. today!
