By elevating queer voices in the environmental movement, this panel series will illuminate the impacts and benefits of queerness in the realm of environmental justice. It will also elevate the concept of inclusivity as a necessity in the Environmental Justice movement using the issue areas of ACP, CAFOs, Coal Ash, and Deforestation, four key EJ issue areas in North Carolina, as a framework. The event will be located at the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity [CSGD] in the Bryan Center of Duke University from 6:30 pm – 8 pm on February 12th. Food will be provided!
