The Pit's 10th Annual 'Cuegrass Festival returns to the warehouse district of downtown Raleigh Saturday, April 21, with a jam-packed day full of great 'cue, local brews and toe-tappin' bluegrass music!
We're closing down the streets around The Pit and firing up the pig cookers to serve plenty of our famous Eastern North Carolina-style barbecue and a selection of locally made beers. On the stage we'll have some of our favorite bands:
12–12:45 p.m. — Songs From The Road Band
1:15–2 p.m. — Tres Chicas
2:30–3:15 p.m. — Acoustic Manner
3:45–4:30 p.m. — Old Habits
5–6 p.m. — Summer Brooke & Mountain Faith
BEER & BANJOS STAGE:
12:45–1:30 p.m. — Heather Kenney
2–2:45 p.m. — Alan Barnosky
3:15–4 p.m. — The Band Sorelle
4:30–5:15 p.m. — Beer & Banjos Jam
It's all for a good cause. Again this year we're giving proceeds to SAFEchild and to the Junior League of Raleigh's BackPack Buddies program, which provides weekend meals to children at Lacy and Hunter Elementary Schools, and summer meals at Camp High Hopes. This year, we're also donating some of the proceeds to Raleigh Cub Scout Troop 325.
Pack up the family, the dog, and the lawn chairs! We'll have a Kids Zone with crafts and face painting, a silent auction full of local goodies, and plenty of beer and barbecue for sale.
Want to save time in line? We're offering early registration on Eventbrite to help reduce time in the queue! We'll have a separate line for Eventbrite registrants on the day of the festival, but early registration is not required for entry. Entry donations will still be accepted at the gate!
