You're invited to enjoy a movie under the stars!
The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department is pleased to offer Family Movie Nights at Joyner Park presented by McPherson Family Eye Care, Capital Powersports, Allstate Insurance Agent: Thomas G. Walters and Edward Jones. New this year, Family Movie Nights at Joyner Park will also include movie-related pre-show activities.
Pre-show activities begin at 7:15 pm.
Movie Showtime is 8:30 pm.
May 26 — Coco
Pre-Show Activities — Music & Masks
Make skull masks at the arts and crafts table and join local student performers as they play and sing music from the movie, Coco.
June 30 — The Lion King…
Pre-Show Activities – Meet the Animals of Africa
The Museum of Natural History will be onsite with a “Meet the Animals” program table and Carolina Tiger Rescue will provide a community presentation.
July 28 — Cars 3
Pre-Show Activities – Create a Car
Bring your own cardboard box to create a car with your family that you can sit in while you enjoy Cars 3.
Aug. 11 — Beauty & The Beast
Pre-Show Activities – Belle & Books
Bring a new or gently used book to donate and enjoy a Meet and Greet with Princess Belle.

— Alcohol, smoking, and unleashed pets are prohibited
— Assorted food vendors will be on hand selling snacks and beverages.

In case of inclement weather, the movie screenings may be relocated to Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N. White St. Updated show information will be available on the town's Facebook page and by calling the Wake Forest Weather Line at 919-435-9569. Smartphone users who have downloaded the Town of Wake Forest app will receive a push notification message informing them of any schedule changes.
